When you import a listing directly from the MLS using its MLS ID, roomvu pulls the listing data from your MLS's feed. roomvu covers a large number of MLS providers, but not all of them, and this is where some confusion happens: seeing a listing on the MLS doesn't automatically mean roomvu has access to that MLS's data feed.
If roomvu can't import your listing automatically, you'll see a pop-up titled Request MLS Integration with the message "Help us connect your MLS." Here's what that pop-up means and your options from there.
What the Pop-Up Means
Seeing this pop-up means one thing: roomvu does not currently have your MLS connected. The listing couldn't be imported automatically because there's no active feed between your MLS and roomvu yet.
This is not an error with your account or your listing. It's a coverage gap that you can actually help close.
Option 1: Fill In the Form So We Can Connect Your MLS
The pop-up is a request form that helps our team get in touch with your MLS and work on connecting its feed to roomvu. Fill in what you know:
MLS Listing ID: pre-filled from your import attempt
Managing Broker Name, Email, and Phone (required): your brokerage manager's contact details, since connecting an MLS feed typically requires broker involvement
MLS UOI (optional): your MLS's Unique Organization Identifier, if you know it
MLS Provider Name (required): for example, Houston Association of Realtors
MLS Agent ID (optional): your agent ID on the MLS
Submit the form and our team will work on connecting your MLS feed. MLS integrations involve coordination with the MLS provider, so this isn't instant, but your submission is what starts the process, and it benefits every roomvu user on your MLS.
Option 2: Import Your Listing Another Way (Available Right Now)
While your MLS connection is being worked on, you don't have to wait to market your listing. roomvu supports several other import methods:
Import from REALTOR: pull the listing from its REALTOR listing page
Import from Zillow: pull the listing using its Zillow link
Manual import: add the listing yourself, entering the details and uploading your photos
Any of these gets your listing into roomvu today, ready for listing videos, carousels, and immersive tours.
One note on credits: a listing imported through a different method is treated as a new listing in the system with its own ID. If you generate paid content like an Immersive Tour on one version of a listing and later re-import the same property through another method and generate again, you will be charged again. Pick one import method per listing and stick with it.
