How to Exclude Topics or Remove Posts from Your Content Calendar

This article explains how to exclude specific words, topics, or public figures from your roomvu Content Calendar using Blacklist Keywords, and how to manually delete a scheduled post from your calendar.

Updated this week

Sometimes you may want to remove a post from your Content Calendar because it includes a certain topic, keyword, public figure, or theme you do not want to share.

Roomvu allows you to:

  • Exclude keywords/topics from future posts using Blacklist Keywords

  • Manually delete a post that is already scheduled

Option 1: Exclude Topics from Your Content Calendar (Recommended)

If you want roomvu to stop generating content related to specific topics, the best option is to add those words to your Blacklist Keywords.

Steps to Add Blacklist Keywords

  • Log in to your roomvu dashboard

  • Click Content Calendar from the left-side menu

  • Find Content Calendar Settings

  • Click Edit

  • Open the Advanced tab

  • Find Blacklist Keywords

  • Click Edit List

  • Add the words or topics you want to exclude

  • Save your changes

✅ After this, roomvu will avoid creating new calendar posts that include those keywords.

Examples of Blacklist Keywords you can add:

  • Names of public figures

  • Specific topics (politics, crypto, etc.)

  • Words you do not want to appear in your content

Option 2: Manually Remove a Scheduled Post

If a post is already scheduled on your Content Calendar and you do not want it to be published, you can delete it manually.

Steps to Delete a Post

  1. Go to Content Calendar

  2. Find the post you want to remove

  3. Click the trash bin icon on the post

🗑️ This removes that specific post from your calendar.
