Your content calendar is fully customisable. If the topics you see do not match your business, language, or audience, you can easily adjust them from your calendar settings or add custom content at any time.
This guide shows you how to do both.
Accessing Your Content Calendar Settings
Log in to your roomvu account.
From your main dashboard, click Content Calendar in the left-hand menu.
On the Content Calendar page, find Calendar Settings.
Click Edit next to it.
A popup window will open with multiple configuration sections.
Content Tab Settings
Inside the popup window, go to the Content tab. This is where you control the type of content that appears on your calendar.
Second Language Content
If you want content in more than one language, you can manage it here.
Choose a second language from a list of more than 20 available languages
Adjust how often second-language posts appear on your calendar
Set the frequency from Low to High based on your audience needs
This is useful if you serve multilingual communities or want to expand your reach.
Account Type (Business Type)
Your account type determines the topics and messaging used in your content.
You can select the business category that best fits your work, such as:
Real estate agent
Broker
Mortgage broker
Financial advisor
Insurance agent
And more
If your content does not feel relevant, your account type may be misconfigured. Updating this setting ensures your calendar delivers content aligned with your profession.
Adding a Specific Topic or Custom Content
If you ever need content on a very specific topic, you do not have to rely only on automatic calendar settings.
You can add custom content directly from your Content Calendar.
Go to Content Calendar from the left menu.
Click Add Content.
From here, you have multiple options:
Choose from available roomvu content types
Add content using a link
Use AI to generate a unique piece of content based on your chosen topic
This gives you full control when you want to cover timely updates, niche topics, or custom messaging.
Save and Review Your Calendar
After updating your settings or adding custom content:
Save your changes
Review your calendar to confirm the topics match your goals
Your calendar will update automatically based on your selections.
When to Review These Settings
It is a good idea to check your calendar settings if:
Your content feels off-topic
You change industries or roles
You want to add or fine-tune multilingual content
You need to publish content around a specific topic
Keeping these settings up to date ensures your content calendar stays aligned with your business and audience.
