roomvu curates and schedules content from a wide range of trusted sources to keep your feed active with valuable, relevant articles for your audience. Occasionally, you may come across a piece of content that references or promotes another company, brokerage, or brand that you would prefer not to be associated with. This is completely understandable, and roomvu gives you full control to block specific sources from ever appearing in your content.
β
Why does this happen?
roomvu selects content based on its value and relevance to your audience, not on which company produced it. An article may contain genuinely useful information for your clients while also being published by or mentioning another business in your industry. This does not mean roomvu endorses that source or that it appears as a competitor recommendation, but we understand that some agents and brokers prefer to avoid this entirely.
β
How to block a news source
From your roomvu dashboard, click Content Calendar in the left menu.
Click Settings.
Go to the Advanced tab.
Find the Customize News Source section.
Click Edit.
Add the URL of the source you would like to block.
Save your changes.
Once a source is blocked, content from that website will no longer be scheduled or shared on your behalf.
β
Can I block multiple sources?
Yes. You can add as many sources as you like to your blocked list. Simply repeat the steps above and add each URL you want to exclude.
β
What if I find a source I want to block in already-scheduled content?
If you notice content from an unwanted source that is already scheduled in your calendar, you can manually remove it from your upcoming posts and then block the source to prevent it from appearing again in the future. If you need help with this, book a support session and our team will assist you.
