How to Choose and Control the Topics Used in Your Content

Roomvu creates content for many types of professionals, including real estate agents, mortgage brokers, insurance agents, financial advisors, and more. Each of these businesses covers a wide range of topics, but not every topic is relevant to every user.

That’s why Roomvu allows you to choose which topics are used when content is scheduled on your calendar and when AI generates content for you.

This guide explains where to manage topic settings and how different sections work together.


Why Topic Selection Matters

Choosing the right topics helps:

  • Keep your content aligned with your services

  • Avoid posts about areas you don’t focus on

  • Improve relevance and engagement with your audience

Roomvu uses your topic selections to decide what type of content appears on your content calendar and how AI writes and frames your messaging.


How to Select Content Topics for Your Calendar

Step 1: Open Content Calendar

Log in to your Roomvu account and click Content Calendar from the right menu on the main dashboard.


Step 2: Edit Content Calendar Settings

Find Content Calendar Settings and click Edit.


Step 3: Go to the Content tab

Inside the settings panel, open the Content tab.


Step 4: Select your topics

Here, you can check or uncheck topics based on the services you offer.

Only the selected topics will be used when scheduling content on your calendar.


Step 5: Save your changes

Once updated, save your settings. Future scheduled content will follow your selected topics.


Additional Topic Controls in “About You”

Roomvu also uses topic preferences from your About You settings to further personalise content.

Specialties

In the About You section, you can define your specialties. This helps Roomvu understand your main focus areas and tailor content accordingly.


Professional Topics

Under the Interests tab in the same section, you can select Professional Topics you want the AI to prioritise when creating content.

These topics guide:

  • AI-written scripts

  • Introductions

  • Messaging style


How These Settings Work Together

  • Content Calendar → Content tab controls what gets scheduled

  • About You → Specialties defines your core focus

  • About You → Interests → Professional Topics guides AI-generated content

Using all three ensures your content stays relevant, consistent, and aligned with your business goals.


Can I Change Topics Anytime?

Yes. You can update your topic selections at any time. Changes will apply to newly scheduled and newly generated content.
