Why Clean Your Contact List?
A clean contact list helps:
Improve email deliverability
Remove duplicates
Avoid invalid email addresses
Keep your campaigns organized
Reduce bounce rates
Roomvu provides two upload options to help you achieve this.
How to Upload and Clean Your Contacts
Step 1: Open Email Campaigns
Log in to your Roomvu account and click Email Campaigns from the left menu.
Step 2: Go to Contacts
Find and click Contacts, then select All Contacts.
Step 3: Upload Your CSV File
Click Upload Contact CSV.
A pop-up window will appear with two processing options.
Choose Your Upload Method
You will see two options:
Option 1: Use AI
We recommend that you try to upload your contacts using AI first. This option uses AI to further clean and organize your contacts.
β
Option 2: Simple Upload (Recommended)
If the first option does not work your can try the next option. With Simple Upload, Roomvu automatically processes your file and performs standard cleaning.
We recommend starting with this option first.
Upload Your File
After choosing your preferred method:
Click Choose Your Contacts File
Select your CSV file
Confirm that you have obtained these contacts in a lawful and compliant manner
You must confirm that your contacts have opted in to receive marketing emails. Uploading purchased or non-consented contact lists is not allowed.
Step 4: Confirm Import
After reviewing the report, click Confirm Import to finalize the process.
Your cleaned contacts will now be available in your Contact List.
Important Reminder About Compliance
You must only upload contacts who have:
Opted in to receive marketing emails
Given you permission to contact them
Avoid uploading purchased contact lists or batch contacts to protect your account and maintain compliance with email marketing regulations.
