If you've added your talking avatar to a video and it isn't showing up in the content preview or thumbnail, don't worry, in most cases nothing is wrong. Avatar generation simply takes a little time, and the preview doesn't update until it's done.
First, Make Sure the Basics Are in Place
The talking avatar can only be added once two things exist on your account:
Your cloned voice, since your avatar speaks with it
Your generated avatar, created in the Talking Avatar section of your account settings
If you haven't set these up yet, start there: click the gear icon ⚙️ in your dashboard, open the Talking Avatar section, and create your avatar.
Why the Avatar Doesn't Appear Right Away
When you click Add Talking Avatar on an editable video in your calendar, the generation process starts in the background. This process takes a bit of time, and while it's running, the avatar will not appear in the content preview or thumbnail.
The fix is simple: wait a few minutes, then refresh the page. After roughly 10 minutes, refreshing the page should show your avatar in place on the video.
So if you just clicked Add Talking Avatar and the preview looks unchanged, that's expected behavior, not an error.
