Your LinkedIn network is one of the most valuable contact lists you own. LinkedIn lets you export your connections at any time, and once you have the file, you can import those contacts into roomvu to keep your network engaged with your content and email campaigns.
Here's how to do it.
How to Export Your LinkedIn Connections
Click the Me icon (the small profile silhouette) at the top of your LinkedIn homepage
Select Settings & Privacy from the dropdown
Click Data privacy on the left pane
Under the How LinkedIn uses your data section, click Get a copy of your data
Select Download larger data archive, which includes connections, verifications, contacts, account history, and information LinkedIn infers about you based on your profile and activity
Click Request archive
LinkedIn will send an email to your primary email address with a link to download your data
Once the archive arrives, download it and locate the connections file (CSV format) inside.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Some email addresses may be missing. You will only see email addresses for connections who have allowed their connections to see or download their email address. This is a LinkedIn privacy setting on their end, not an export issue.
Extended character sets are not supported. The CSV and vCard formats don't support all characters, so languages like Chinese, Japanese, or Hebrew may not display correctly in the exported file.
Only 1st-degree connections are included. You currently can't export contacts who aren't direct connections.
Merging duplicate accounts? If you're exporting your connections because you have a duplicate LinkedIn account, remember to close the extra account and import your connections list into the account you're keeping.
