Your database is the highest-ROI asset you own — but only if it's actually in one place. Most of your contacts are scattered across tools you already use. Here's where to find them and how to pull them out, so nothing gets left behind.
Where your contacts are hiding
Gmail / Google Contacts — usually a goldmine you've forgotten about. Export from contacts.google.com, or use roomvu's Import Google Contacts to pull up to 3,000 at once.
LinkedIn — export your professional connections: Settings → Data Privacy → Get a copy of your data, and download your connections to a file.
Your phone — export your Google or Apple contacts to a CSV.
Past CRMs — export contacts from any CRM you've used, even from a former career. It's fine to send them an educational email.
Spreadsheets & e-signature tools — DocuSign, Authentisign, and similar tools are full of past clients. Export those lists too.
Social followers & old inquiries — people already following you, and leads you talked to but never nurtured, all count.
Get the raw data first, clean it later
Don't try to perfect the list as you go. Export everything to CSVs first — you can clean, dedupe, and validate it in one pass once it's in roomvu.
Bring it into roomvu
In your account, go to All Contacts. From there you can Import Google Contacts, upload any CSV, and run the AI Contact Cleaner to remove duplicates and flag bad addresses. For the full flow, see How to Set Up Email Marketing on roomvu and Import Google Contacts into roomvu.
Gather everything into one place, and your database finally starts working for you.
