If the AI voice on your listing video is mispronouncing a city name, street name, or any other word, there are two things you can try to fix it. Each listing uses its own individual script, so the fix needs to be applied per listing.
Option 1: Regenerate the AI Voice
Sometimes regenerating the AI voice on its own is enough to produce a better result. To trigger a regeneration without changing the meaning of your script, make a small edit and save it. Something as minor as adding a comma is enough to prompt the engine to regenerate the voiceover.
Option 2: Change the Spelling to Match the Correct Pronunciation (Recommended)
The script is used only to generate the AI voice and is never displayed to viewers. This means you can change the spelling of a word to whatever helps the AI pronounce it correctly, without affecting how the video looks.
For example, if the city name "Clio" is being pronounced as "KLEE-oh," you can change it in the script to "KLYO" or another phonetic variation that guides the AI toward the correct sound.
Since city names and proper nouns are not common English words, the AI engine may need one or two attempts to get the pronunciation right. Try a variation, regenerate, and adjust again if needed until it sounds correct.
Important Things to Know
Fixes apply to one listing only.
Correcting the pronunciation on one listing will not carry over to other listings that include the same city or word. You will need to apply the fix to each listing individually.
Script editing is only available on listing videos.
Editable videos also use the AI voice, but the script for those videos is not editable. The pronunciation fix described above only applies to listing videos.
