Welcome to roomvu! Here is a clear, step-by-step overview of everything that happens after you subscribe so you know exactly what to expect and what to do next.
Step 1: You receive a subscription confirmation email
Immediately after subscribing, roomvu sends you a confirmation email with a summary of your plan including the plan name, purchase date, amount charged, any discount applied, and your next renewal date. It also includes a list of the features included in your plan and helpful links to get you started.
Keep this email for your records.
Step 2: Connect your social media accounts
One of the first things you should do after subscribing is connect your social media accounts so roomvu can start posting content on your behalf automatically. To do this, click the gear icon in the top right corner of your dashboard to open Settings and navigate to the Social Media section.
The sooner you connect your accounts, the sooner your content calendar starts working for you.
Step 3: Complete your profile
Your profile information feeds into everything roomvu creates for you, from your videos to your VuCard to your email campaigns. Make sure your name, photo, contact details, brokerage information, bio, and services are all filled in and accurate before your content starts going out.
Step 4: Branding setup (Platinum and Diamond plans only)
If you are on the Platinum or Diamond plan, approximately 2 hours after subscribing you will receive a branding setup email from our team. This kicks off the process of creating your custom video theme.
To get started, you will need to provide:
Personal logo
Brokerage logo
Professional headshot
Brand colors
Any other existing marketing materials
What happens after you submit your materials:
Our design team creates your static templates and delivers the first version within 1 to 2 business days.
Once you approve the static design, motion templates are delivered within another 1 to 2 business days.
You can request up to 3 rounds of revisions for each template before finalizing.
When your designs are complete, you will receive an email confirming they are live in your Content Calendar.
Minor updates such as contact information changes can be requested at any time after your designs go live by clicking Branding Theme on your dashboard and then clicking Update Design.
Diamond plan: In addition to the above, your Diamond branding setup also includes logo design. You will receive links to sample designs and logos to help guide your preferences.
Step 5: Set up your email marketing
If your plan includes email marketing, import your contacts and connect Constant Contact to start sending branded weekly newsletters to your audience. Once set up, this runs automatically.
When a campaign goes out, you will receive a confirmation email. Three days later you will receive a performance report showing your open rate, click rate, and delivery stats so you can see exactly how your campaign performed.

Step 6: Record your personal intro
Adding a personal intro or face message to your videos is one of the most effective things you can do to increase engagement. Videos with a real face and voice behind them consistently outperform those without.
If you have not recorded an intro within the first two weeks, roomvu will send you a reminder. It takes about 60 seconds to record and makes a noticeable difference in how your audience connects with your content.
Step 7: Attend a Success Session
Once you are set up, we strongly recommend attending one of roomvu's regular Success Sessions hosted live by CEO Sam Mehrbod. These sessions walk you through the platform's features in real time and give you a clear picture of everything roomvu can do for your business.

Once your account is running, here is what you will continue to receive from roomvu:
Weekly impressions report every Monday showing how many views your posts received the previous week
Weekly CRM report summarizing your lead and contact activity
Content calendar notifications letting you know what is scheduled to go out on your social media
Campaign performance reports three days after each email campaign is sent
Listing import confirmations whenever a new listing is imported into your account
Personal intro reminders every two weeks if you have not yet recorded or refreshed your face message
