I Changed My Logo, Phone Number, or Email Changed But My Branding Did Not Update. Why?

Explains why updating your logo, phone number, or email may not immediately reflect in your roomvu content branding. Platinum and Diamond users must submit a design update request.

If you have updated your profile information on roomvu but your branding on social media content still shows the old details, the reason depends on which plan you are on. This is one of the most common questions we receive and the answer is different depending on your subscription.

Find out which plan you are on first

  • Platinum or Diamond plan: You are using Platinum Design

  • Basic, Pro, or Omni-Presence plan: You are using Premium Branding


If you are on the Platinum or Diamond plan

Your branding is custom-built and maintained by roomvu's in-house design team. This means that when you update your logo, phone number, email, profile photo, or any other profile detail, those changes do not automatically carry over to your content. Your videos and images will continue displaying the previous version of your branding until you submit a design update request.

This is by design, not a bug. Because your theme is a custom creation, any changes need to be reviewed and applied manually by our team to make sure everything still looks polished and on-brand.

How to submit a design update request

  1. Log in to your roomvu dashboard.

  2. Click Branding Theme directly on your dashboard.

  3. Click Update Design.

  4. Fill in the form with your updated details and any preferences you have for the new design.

  5. Submit the form.

Our design team will create your updated theme based on your inputs and apply it to your account. You will be notified once the update is live.

Please note that design updates are processed by our team and may take a few business days to complete.


If you are on the Basic, Pro, or Omni-Presence plan

Your branding uses Premium Branding templates that pull your information directly from your roomvu profile. When you update your logo, email, phone number, or other details, these changes should apply to your content automatically and immediately.

If you have updated your profile and your branding has still not updated after some time, this may be due to a technical issue. In this case please send us an email at info@roomvu.com and our team will investigate and resolve it for you.

The most important thing to remember

If you are on a Platinum or Diamond plan, updating your profile information alone is never enough to update your branding. You must always submit a design update request through the Branding Theme section on your dashboard. This is the only way to get your new details applied to your content.
