Sometimes agents notice that the photos used in their listing video are not the ones they expected. This usually happens because listing photos are automatically imported along with the listing data.
When a listing is imported into Roomvu, the images are pulled from the source (such as MLS or other listing platforms) in the same order they appear on that platform. Since listing videos use a selection of these images, there is a chance that similar or less important photos may be included.
While our system works to select the most relevant images automatically, you can easily reorder the photos yourselfto control which ones appear in the video.
Why Your Listing Video May Show Certain Photos
When a listing is imported:
All listing photos are imported in their original order
The listing video is generated based on that order
If similar or less important photos appear earlier in the sequence, they may be used in the video
Fortunately, you can adjust the order manually.
How to Reorder Your Listing Photos
Step 1: Go to MLS Listings
Log in to your Roomvu account and click MLS Listing on the main dashboard.
Step 2: Select Your Listing
Find the listing you would like to update.
Step 3: Open Listing Studio
Click Listing Studio for that listing.
Step 4: Go to Images
Click the Images section.
Here you will see all the photos that were imported with your listing and the order they appear in.
Step 5: Reorder the Photos
You can drag and drop the images to change their order.
Place the most important photos first, such as:
Exterior front photo
Main living areas
Kitchen highlights
Key features of the property
This helps the video focus on the strongest visuals.
Step 6: Save Your Changes
After adjusting the order, click Save.
Roomvu will regenerate the listing video using the updated image order.
Tips for Better Listing Videos
To improve your listing video quality:
Place your best photos at the top of the image order
Avoid repeating similar images in the first few positions
Prioritize photos that clearly showcase the property
This gives the video a stronger visual flow and better presentation.
