roomvu allows you to create an AI Avatar so your content can feature a realistic, animated version of you. When setting up your AI Avatar, you can choose how it’s created based on your preference and comfort level.
This guide explains what AI Avatars and AI Portraits are, and how to set up your AI Avatar step by step.
What Are AI Avatars?
AI (Talking) Avatars are animated, hyper-realistic digital versions of you. They can move and speak using your cloned voice, making your videos feel as if you personally presented them without having to record yourself each time.
AI Avatars help you:
Add a strong personal presence to your content
Stay consistent across videos
Save time while remaining recognisable
What Are AI Portraits?
AI Portraits are static, AI-generated images created from your profile photo. They are visual representations of you and are often used in slideshows or video covers.
AI Portraits do not move and do not speak, but they can also be used as a base to create an AI Avatar.
How to Set Up Your AI Avatar
Step 1: Open Settings
Log in to your Roomvu account and click the gear icon on the top right corner of the page to enter Settings.
Step 2: Go to AI Avatar & Voice
From the left menu, click Talking Avatar
Step 3: Update your AI Avatar
Click Update My Avatar.
A pop-up window will appear with multiple options. Click "Create New Avatar"
Step 4: Choose Avatar Type
in the next window, pick the type of AI Avatar you would like to create:
AI Avatar (From Portraits):
Pick one of your body-shots and turn it into a polished and studio-quality talking avatar.
Realistic Avatar:
Take a quick selfie using the camera on your device to create a hyper-realistic talking avatar. You can also upload a headshot from your device.
After Your Avatar Is Generated
Once your AI Avatar is created, it will be available for use in supported Roomvu content, helping your videos feel more personal and engaging.
