How to Disable AI Portraits in Video Covers

This article explains how to disable AI Portraits in video covers, where to find AI Portrait Settings, and how to control whether AI Portraits appear in video covers and news slideshows.

Updated over a month ago

roomvu automatically adds a video cover to content scheduled on your content calendar. In many cases, this cover includes your AI Portrait to help make your videos more personal and recognisable.

However, some users prefer not to use AI Portraits in their video covers. If you want to remove AI Portraits from your video covers, you can easily control this in your settings.

This guide explains how to turn AI Portraits off for video covers.

What Is a Video Cover?

A video cover is the opening visual frame of your scheduled videos. It appears before the main video content starts and helps grab attention.

By default, AI Portraits may be included in video covers depending on your settings.

If you do not want your AI Portrait to appear there, you can disable it.

How to Disable AI Portraits for Video Covers

Step 1: Open Settings

Log in to your Roomvu account and click the gear icon on the top right corner of your main dashboard.

Step 2: Go to AI Avatar & Voice

From the left menu under Profile, click AI Avatar & Voice.

Step 3: Find AI Portrait Settings

Scroll down until you see the AI Portrait Settings section.

Step 4: Turn Off AI Portraits for Video Cover

In this section, you can choose how AI Portraits are used for each content type.

You will see options to turn AI Portraits on or off for:

  • Video Cover

  • News Slideshow

  • Reviews and Client Testimonials

Toggle off Video Cover if you do not want your AI Portrait to appear in video covers.

Step 5: Save Your Changes

After adjusting your preferences, click Save Settings at the top of the page.

Your changes will apply to future scheduled content.
