Your roomvu website comes ready out of the box, but taking a few minutes to configure it makes it truly yours. This guide walks you through every section of the website settings, from connecting your personal domain to choosing what appears on your homepage.
Where to Find Your Website Settings
Log in to your roomvu account
Click Website & Lead Forms from the left menu on the main page
On the website settings page, click the gear icon ⚙️ to enter the website setup page.
You'll see a row of tabs across the top: Domain, Template, Background, Team, Neighborhood, Footer, and More. Let's go through each one.
1. Set Up Your Domain
By default, your website is hosted on roomvu with an address like roomvu.com/agent/your-name. If you own a personal domain, you can point it to your roomvu website so visitors reach your site through your own web address.
To connect your domain:
In the Domain tab, click Set Up Your Domain
Type in your domain (for example, yourname.com) and click Continue
Choose your domain provider from the list (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Squarespace, Gname, .realtor, or Other provider) and follow the steps shown for your provider
Click See DNS records to view the values you need to copy into your DNS settings, then add both records at your domain provider
Once done, click I've Applied The DNS Changes, Check Now and roomvu will verify your setup
Note: DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to update. If verification doesn't succeed right away, give it some time and check again. Also keep in mind that after changing your DNS records, your domain will no longer point to your previous website if you had one.

2. Choose Your Template
In the Template tab, you'll choose the layout of your website's homepage. Two templates are available: Luxury and Mediterranean. Click Sample Preview under each one to see what it looks like, then select the one that fits your brand.

3. Choose Your Background
The Background tab controls the hero section of your website, the large visual at the top of your homepage. You have a few options here:
Upload your own images for desktop (best at 1280 × 720) and mobile (best at 750 × 440), in JPG, PNG, or WebP format up to 5 MB
Upload your own videos for desktop and mobile, in MP4 or MKV format up to 25 MB
Generate a background with roomvu AI: describe your idea, like "a hot air balloon flyover Beverly Hills," and the AI creates a stunning hero video for you. Just click Generate Background and describe what you want
4. Add Team Members (Optional)
In the Team tab, you can add the agents on your team. Each member appears in your website's "The Team" section with their photo and contact details. Click Add Member and fill in their information.
5. Choose Your Neighborhoods (Optional)
The Neighborhood tab lets you choose which neighborhoods appear on your website and the order they show in. Click Manage Neighborhoods to:
Add neighborhoods using the search box
Remove neighborhoods you don't want
Drag to reorder them (at least one is required)
Click Apply when you're done.
6. Customize Your Footer
In the Footer tab, you can write your own website footer. This is the place to include any compliance text, disclaimers, brokerage information, or legal language your profession requires.
You'll also find a checkbox to include the Equal Housing Opportunity Logo in your footer.
7. More Settings
The More tab covers a few final touches:
Slogan: add a tagline to be shown in your website's hero section, with the option to hide your name and slogan from the hero if you prefer
Other Sections: choose which sections appear on your website by toggling them on or off, including Property Search, Agent Listings, Brokerage Listings, Latest Videos, and Bottom Video
