Website Offering Overview
roomvu provides a templated, managed website with daily hyper-local content publishing to the website blog. This product is not a fully custom website build and is delivered as a managed service.
Value: $300/year
Customization: Limited (layout, structure, and core features are standardized)
A. Domain Ownership & Responsibility
Option 1: Agent purchases their own domain (recommended)
The agent is fully responsible for purchasing and maintaining their domain.
The agent must point DNS settings to roomvu following published instructions.
roomvu does not manage domain purchases, renewals, or DNS accounts.
Option 2: roomvu purchases the domain (optional)
If roomvu purchases the domain on behalf of the agent:
roomvu remains the legal owner of the domain.
The domain is licensed to the agent only while their Platinum subscription is active.
If the subscription ends, the domain and website are terminated unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Hosting, Integration & Limitations
The website is:
Hosted on roomvu infrastructure
Delivered as a managed service
Agents cannot migrate the website to their own hosting environment.
Core structure, templates, and automation cannot be altered.
A WordPress-based blog interface is provided for optional manual posting by the agent.
Third-party plugins, themes, or custom backend access are not supported.
Termination, Ownership & Transition
Website Content
roomvu retains ownership of:
Website framework
Templates
Automation systems
Agent retains rights to:
Their branding
Their authored content (subject to platform format limitations)
If the agent cancels:
Website hosting is terminated.
If the agent wishes to retain the website:
They may continue the website at $300/year
PLUS any applicable MLS IDX fees
Website migration to external hosting is not available.
Connecting an Existing Website
roomvu does not connect to or host existing websites.
Existing WordPress, Magento, Wix, Squarespace, or custom websites:
Cannot be integrated or mirrored
Cannot receive roomvu automation natively
Only DNS routing to a roomvu-hosted site is supported.
Email & Domain-Based Email
roomvu does not provide email hosting.
Agents are responsible for:
Google Workspace
Microsoft 365
Or other email providers
DNS email records (MX) remain under the agent’s control.
SEO & Search Rankings
roomvu websites include:

Traffic
Lead volume

Agent activity
Upon termination:
Search rankings may decline

MLS / IDX Fees (Important)
If an MLS provider:
Does not charge for website/IDX URLs → roomvu does not charge
Does charge (e.g. $15 per URL) → Agent must pay MLS directly
MLS fees are:

Using roomvu with an Existing Website
If you already have a website, Roomvu does not replace or take over your existing hosting. Roomvu offers a WordPress plugin that can be installed on your own WordPress site to publish content. For non-WordPress websites, Roomvu provides API access only. API usage requires your own development resources, as Roomvu does not provide custom implementation, programming, or technical support for third-party integrations. Roomvu is not responsible for compatibility, performance, or SEO outcomes on externally hosted websites using the plugin or API.
Brokerages and Teams: Website Integration Options
Website integration options beyond the WordPress plugin are available only for brokerages and teams. These integrations may include expanded content distribution or API-based connections, subject to separate agreements and technical requirements. Individual agents are supported exclusively through the WordPress plugin and do not have access to brokerage- or team-level integrations. Any API usage for brokerages or teams must be implemented and maintained by their own technical resources, as Roomvu does not provide custom development or ongoing support for external website environments.

Can I fully customize the website?

Who owns my domain?

Can I move my website to another host later?
No. The website is a managed service and cannot be exported.
Can I connect my existing website?
No. Existing sites cannot be hosted or synced.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Website is terminated
You may continue it for $300/year + MLS fees
Domains owned by roomvu are released
Do you manage my MLS IDX fees?
No. All MLS IDX fees are paid directly by you to your MLS.
Will this help my SEO?

Website Product Terms
1. Website Service Description
roomvu provides a managed website product consisting of a standardized website framework with automated content publishing. Custom development, custom hosting, or migration services are not included.
2. Domain Registration
Customers are responsible for purchasing and maintaining their own domain unless explicitly purchased by roomvu. Domains purchased by roomvu remain the sole property of roomvu Technologies Inc. and are licensed to the customer only for the duration of an active subscription.
3. DNS Configuration
Customers are solely responsible for configuring DNS settings in accordance with roomvu’s published instructions. roomvu does not provide domain registrar support or DNS troubleshooting beyond documentation.
4. Hosting & Access
All websites are hosted on roomvu infrastructure. Customers may not export, clone, or transfer the website to third-party hosting environments.
5. Content & IP
roomvu retains all rights to website templates, layouts, automation systems, and proprietary technology. Customers retain rights to their branding and authored content submitted through the platform.
6. Termination
Upon cancellation or expiration:
Website hosting may be terminated
Continued hosting may be offered at roomvu’s then-current pricing
No refunds are provided for unused periods
7. MLS & IDX Fees
MLS and IDX fees are not included unless explicitly stated. Any MLS-imposed charges must be paid directly by the customer and are subject to MLS rules and changes.
8. SEO Disclaimer
roomvu does not guarantee search engine rankings, traffic levels, or lead generation outcomes.
9. Email Services
roomvu does not provide email hosting or domain-based email services.
