Not Receiving Test Emails? Here's How to Fix It

Whether your test email landed in spam or your Constant Contact email isn't verified yet, here's how to track it down based on your plan.

If you've sent yourself a test email from roomvu and it never arrived in your inbox, the cause depends on your subscription plan. Here are the two scenarios and the fix for each.

Scenario 1: You're on a Premium Account

If you're on a Premium account and the test email hasn't arrived, it has most likely landed in your spam folder.

  1. Open your email and check the Spam (or Junk) folder

  2. Find the roomvu test email

  3. Mark it as Not Spam

Marking it as not spam does two things: it moves the email to your inbox, and it teaches your email provider to deliver future roomvu emails to your inbox instead of spam.

Scenario 2: You're on a Platinum Account

If you're on a Platinum account, the most likely cause is that your email address hasn't been verified on Constant Contact yet. Here's how to check:

Step 1: Check your integration status

In your roomvu account email settings, check the status of the Constant Contact integration. If it says Connected, move to the next step.

Step 2: Verify your email on Constant Contact

  1. Log in to your Constant Contact account from roomvu

  2. Click the profile account on the top right section of your Constant Contact account

  3. Click Settings

  4. Click Account Emails

  5. Check that your personal email address is verified

  6. If it isn't, go ahead and verify it

Once your email is verified, test emails (and your campaigns) will deliver normally.

Also worth checking: your spam folder. In rare cases, test emails on Platinum accounts can land in spam too. It won't hurt to take a quick look there, and if you find the email, mark it as Not Spam.
