Upload Your Own Content Not Working on the Android App? Here's What's Happening

A known issue is affecting content uploads on some Android devices. Here's the status and what to use in the meantime.

Some users are currently unable to upload their own content to the Content Calendar through the roomvu Android app. If you're experiencing this, you're not doing anything wrong, and your account is not the problem.

What's Going On

Depending on the version of Android running on your phone, the "upload your own content" feature in the calendar may not work correctly on some devices. The issue does not affect all Android users, which is why some people experience it while others don't.

We are aware of the issue and actively working on it. A thorough overhaul of the roomvu Android app is currently underway, and this fix is part of that work.

What to Use in the Meantime

Until the updated Android app is released, we recommend one of these two options for uploading and scheduling your own content:

Option 1: Use your computer

Log in to your roomvu account from any desktop or laptop browser and upload your content through the Content Calendar there. All features work normally on the web dashboard.

Option 2: Use the iOS app

If you own an iPhone or iPad, the roomvu iOS app supports content uploads without issue. You can sign in with the same account and upload from there.

Everything else about your account, your scheduled content, auto-posting, and settings, continues to work normally regardless of which device you use.

What's Next

The Android app overhaul is in progress. Once released, uploading your own content will work reliably across Android devices. We appreciate your patience in the meantime.
