Sometimes you may want Roomvu to cover a general market but exclude specific cities or areas within or near that location.
This usually happens when:
You serve a main city but not certain nearby areas
You want to avoid content about locations you do not work in
Your profile location includes multiple sub-areas and you want more control
The good news is that excluding specific areas from your content is quick and easy.
How to Block Content From a Specific Location
Step 1: Log in to your Roomvu account
Sign in to your Roomvu dashboard.
Step 2: Open your Profile settings
Click your profile photo on the top left side of the page.
Step 3: Go to Profile Details
On the profile window, click Go To Profile Details.
Step 4: Scroll to Marketing Location
Scroll down until you find the Marketing Location section.
Here you will see:
Your main account location
Your 2nd City/County
Submarket
Block Content by Location
Step 5: Block the area or city you want to exclude
In the Block Content by Location field:
Start typing the name of the city or area you want to exclude
Select the correct option from the list
You can block multiple locations if needed.
Step 6: Save your changes
Click Save at the bottom of the page.
Once saved, Roomvu will stop generating content related to the blocked area(s).
What Happens After You Block a Location?
✅ Your main market coverage stays the same
✅ Content from the excluded city or area will no longer appear
✅ You can update or remove blocked locations anytime
