roomvu is designed to generate hyper-local content tailored to your selected market. However, some users may want to receive broader, non-local content in addition to their location-based posts.
If you prefer to receive non-hyperlocal content as well, this option is available for certain account types.
Currently, this feature is available for:
Brokerages
Insurance professionals
This guide explains how to enable it.
What Is Hyper-Local Content?
By default, Roomvu generates content based on the location selected in your account. This ensures:
Local market relevance
Area-specific updates
Community-focused content
Geographic targeting
This approach helps position you as the local expert in your area.
What Is Non-Hyperlocal Content?
Non-hyperlocal content includes:
Broader industry topics
General educational insights
National-level trends
Content not tied to a specific city or neighbourhood
This type of content can help diversify your feed and expand your audience beyond a specific location.
How to Enable Non-Hyperlocal Content
Step 1: Log in to Your Account
Sign in to your Roomvu dashboard.
Step 2: Click the Location Icon
On the top left corner of your dashboard, click the Location icon.
Step 3: Adjust Your Content Preference
In the pop-up menu, you will see your selected content location.
If you want to receive non-local content as well, check the option:
“I want non-local content as well”
Once selected, your content calendar may begin including broader industry content alongside your hyper-local posts.
When Should You Use This Option?
You may consider enabling non-hyperlocal content if:
You operate in multiple regions
You want broader industry visibility
You want more content variety
Your business model is not limited to one geographic market
However, we recommend keeping a balance between local authority and broader relevance.
Important Notes
This feature is currently available only for brokerages and insurance accounts.
Hyper-local content remains the foundation of Roomvu’s strategy.
Enabling non-local content supplements your calendar, it does not remove local content unless you change your location settings.
