Instagram allows you to connect with people you already know by syncing your phone’s contact list. This is an easy way to increase your followers by inviting people who have your number saved.
Steps to Add Your Contacts to Instagram
1. Check If You’ve Given Instagram Access to Your Contacts:
• Open the Instagram app.
• Go to your profile by tapping the bottom-right icon.
• Tap the three-line menu (☰) in the top-right corner and select “Settings and privacy.”
• Scroll to “Account” and select “Contacts Syncing.”
• If it’s off, turn on the toggle for “Connect Contacts.”
2. Sync Your Contacts with Instagram:
• Once enabled, Instagram will suggest people from your contact list to follow.
• Go to the “Discover People” section in your profile:
Tap the notification on your phone's home screen, then tap Follow.
You can also tap the heart icon in the top right to view the notification, then tap Follow and follow those you recognize.
Many of them will follow you back.
3. Manually Invite People in Your Contacts to Follow You:
If you have a list of real estate clients or business connections, send them a direct message or SMS.
Example message:
“Hey [Name], I just started sharing great real estate tips on Instagram! Follow me at @YourHandle for market updates and home-buying tips!”
