If you have multiple Instagram accounts—such as a personal account, an old account, or a second business profile—you can merge their followers into your main business account. The best way to do this is by sending follow requests to the followers of your other accounts. Here’s how:
Steps to Merge Followers from Multiple Accounts
1. Switch to Your Main Business Account:
• Open the Instagram app.
• Tap on your profile icon at the bottom right.
• If you’re logged into a different account, tap your username at the top and select your main business account.
2. Find Followers from Your Other Accounts:
• Go to your other accounts (personal, old, or additional business accounts).
• Open the “Followers” list for each account.
3. Send Follow Requests to These Followers:
• One by one, visit their profiles.
• Tap the “Follow” button from your main business account.
• Many will follow back, especially if they already know you from another account.
4. Post a Story Announcing Your Main Account:
• On your other accounts, post an Instagram Story telling your followers about your main business account.
• Add a direct link to your profile and encourage them to follow.
5. Update Your Bio on Other Accounts:
• If you’re keeping multiple accounts active, update their bios with a message like:
“Follow my main account @YourBusinessHandle for the latest updates!”
