How to Stop Roomvu From Posting to Your Social Media

Learn how to pause Roomvu content sharing by disconnecting your social media accounts, so Roomvu stops auto-posting to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more anytime you need.

Updated over a week ago

Sometimes you may need to pause your Roomvu content from being shared to social media. This can happen for different reasons, such as:

  • You updated your contact info and want your designs to reflect the new details

  • You need a break from posting for personal reasons

  • You want to stop posting on one platform only (like Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn)

βœ… The best way to stop roomvu from sharing your content is to disconnect your social media accounts from Roomvu.

Important to Know Before You Start

roomvu cannot stop posting on your behalf, even if you contact our team.

To pause your content sharing, you need to disconnect your social media accounts inside your Roomvu dashboard.

How to Stop Roomvu From Posting (Disconnect Social Media)

Step 1: Log in to your Roomvu account

Go to your Roomvu dashboard and make sure you are logged in.

Step 2: Click Connect More

On the bottom left corner of your dashboard, click Connect More.

This will open your Social Media Connection Engine.

Step 3: Disconnect the platform(s) you want to pause

You will see a list of all the social media platforms currently connected to your Roomvu account.

From here, you can:

  • Disconnect all platforms (to pause everything)

  • Disconnect only specific platforms (to pause only some channels)

Once disconnected, Roomvu will stop sharing content to the platform(s) you removed.

What Happens After You Disconnect?

When your social media is disconnected:

βœ… Roomvu will stop auto-sharing new posts to that platform
βœ… Your content calendar can still continue generating content inside your account
βœ… You can reconnect anytime when you are ready to start posting again

Need to Pause Posting Temporarily?

If you are only taking a short break, you can disconnect now and reconnect later whenever you are ready to resume posting.

If you are pausing because your branding or contact details changed, disconnecting prevents old info from being posted until everything is updated.
