Using Videos In Emails

To combine the power of video and email marketing, you need to:

  1. Create engaging content

  2. Create branded videos based on your content

  3. Update videos regularly with new content

  4. Make a contact list

  5. Create different emails

  6. Embed those videos in your emails

  7. Send emails

With your Roomvu Agent Profile, you need to:

  1. Upload contacts

  2. Choose your branded video

  3. Send emails

Emailing Videos

Before we can continue with the tutorial, you must ensure you have your contact list uploaded to your Roomvu account under Email Marketing.

In the sidebar navigation on the left, click on Videos to Share to open the drop-down menu. In the drop-down menu, choose the type of video; for instance, I choose Market Reports.

Click on the video you would like to email to your clients. That will expand the video so you can preview it and ensure it’s the right one.

Then, click on the dots icon, as specified in the screenshot below, then click on send by email.

You can edit your email template and change the default text in this step. You can change the subject, mail body. If you wish, you can also send a test email to your email address.

  • The first text box is your subject line. You can change your subject line or leave it as is.

  • Next, choose a proper template for your video type selected.

  • The body of the email is generated for you, but it may be modified in the “Body” text box.

If you choose to edit the text, remember to keep [Agent's name], [brokerage name], and [client's name] as they appear in the template to be populated in your email automatically.

Remember that anything you see in brackets will be pulled from your existing information. The agent’s name (your name) and brokerage name will be taken from your profile, and the client’s name will be pulled from the Contact List you’ve uploaded.
