roomvu automatically adds hashtags and captions to the content it posts on your behalf. You have full control over what those look like. Here's how to set them up.
How to Update Your Hashtags and Caption
Log in to your roomvu dashboard
Click Content Calendar from the left menu on the home page
Find Calendar Settings and click Edit
In the pop-up menu, click the Hashtags tab (last tab in the list)
From here you can:
View your current hashtags
Remove any hashtags you don't want
Add hashtags from the suggested list
Type in your own custom hashtags
At the bottom of the same menu, you'll find a field to write a custom caption. Whatever you enter here will be used as the caption for your video posts going forward.
Setting Hashtags Through Custom Uploaded Content
There's a second way to set your hashtags. If you upload your own content through the Add Content feature and include hashtags in the caption of that custom post, roomvu will ask if you'd like to apply those hashtags to all your content. Confirming that will update your hashtags across the board.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Hashtags and captions set in Calendar Settings apply to your auto-posted content going forward
Your custom caption will be used alongside your videos, so keep it relevant to your market and audience
Hashtags added through uploaded content give you a quick shortcut to update everything at once without going into Calendar Settings
