Because of this, we do not have documented proof that they agreed to receive phone calls or SMS messages from our platform or on your behalf.

Regulations such as CASL and CRTC’s Unsolicited Telecommunications Rules require clear, affirmative consent for telemarketing and text messaging. Without that consent, initiating calls or SMS communications would be a violation of these laws.
To protect your business from potential legal and financial risks, our platform is designed to only allow phone and SMS outreach to leads who have gone through our verified consent process. For imported leads, we limit communications to email—assuming you already have the appropriate email permissions from them. This approach ensures that we remain compliant while still giving you the tools to nurture and engage your contacts in a legally sound way.
