Are you compliant with CRTC, CTC, and other regulations regarding calling and SMS messaging to leads?

Updated over a week ago

Yes, we are fully compliant with the CRTC (Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission), CTC (Canadian Telecommunications Commission), and all applicable federal and provincial regulations governing telemarketing, SMS communication, and consumer privacy.

When a lead submits their information through one of our landing pages—such as Facebook Lead Ads or other Roomvu-powered forms—they are presented with a clear and transparent consent statement. By submitting their information, they agree to our collection and use of their data, which includes permission to be contacted by phone and SMS. This process ensures that consent is both informed and documented, which is a requirement under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and other compliance frameworks.

Additionally, every SMS we send includes a simple opt-out option. Leads can unsubscribe at any time by replying with the word “STOP,” and our system will immediately flag their number and halt future messaging. This ensures continued compliance and demonstrates our commitment to respectful communication practices.

We take compliance seriously to protect not only our customers but also the reputation and integrity of the businesses we serve.
