Insurance and financial producers work in a regulated space, and every carrier, broker-dealer, and state has its own rules. roomvu gives you the tools to keep your marketing compliance-ready — but you, your compliance officer, and your carrier remain responsible for what actually goes out. This article shows you where those tools live.
roomvu does not provide legal, tax, or compliance advice, and nothing here guarantees compliance with any regulation. Always follow your own compliance department, broker-dealer, carrier, and applicable state and federal rules, and have your setup reviewed by your compliance team.
Edit your footer and disclaimers
Your website footer is where most required disclosures belong. From your website settings, open Live Edit and edit the footer to add whatever your line of business and jurisdiction require, for example:
Your license number(s) and the states you're licensed in
Carrier or broker-dealer disclosures and required affiliations
Any product-specific or state-specific disclaimers
Equal opportunity / fair housing language where it applies
We include a default footer, but it is your responsibility to add the specific disclosures your compliance team requires. If you need more added, just let us know.
Accessibility
Your roomvu website is built with accessibility in mind so visitors with disabilities can use it — an important requirement in several states. If your compliance team has specific accessibility requirements, reach out and we'll help.
Control what gets posted
You decide what goes out. In your Content Calendar you can review and edit content before it publishes, exclude topics and keywords with the blacklist, and block sources you don't want. If your carrier requires pre-approval of marketing, use the review step and keep your posts within your approved topics.
Email and consent
Only email contacts you have the right to contact. When you send through your included Constant Contact account, unsubscribe and opt-out requests are honored automatically, and your list is cleaned accordingly.
